Hi!
I am a Pediatric nephrologist and physician-scientist at Stanford Medicine Children's Health, formerly a resident physician at the UCLA Pediatrics residency program.
I pursued both an MD and a PhD in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at UCLA's MSTP. During fellowship, I was a fellow of the Pediatric Scientist Development Program.
My research interests are modeling and manipulating developmental signals and programs to better understand disease and to promote regeneration. I worked on developmentally regulated genetic programs and microRNAs in early neural development using pluripotent stem cells in the lab of William Lowry, PhD. And I am currently a postdoctoral fellow working in the lab of Calvin J. Kuo, MD, PhD.
